WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A SPIRITUAL WARRIOR?

There are many interpretations and definitions for the term "Spiritual Warrior" written in numerous Tomes and Spiritual books. In this article I'm adding my own definition and developing some of the concepts of what it means to be a "Spiritual Warrior". ( Note that I use the masculine only for a purpose of simplicity, but regardless of sex and gender, anyone could be a Spiritual Warrior)

The word “Warrior” in here doesn’t refer to someone who goes to a battlefield and spreads violence and spills blood (That is Ignorance and fear). The word "Warrior" in this article has a whole new meaning and it represents someone who wins battles through Light and Love. A Spiritual Warrior cultivates daily peace, all while standing his ground for justice.

WHAT IS THIS BATTLE ALL ABOUT?

To put it in simple terms: It is a Battle of INFORMATION and it is happening on the outside, but also inside OURSELVES. Ignorance and fear being the root of all suffering and pain that we know in the world. A Spiritual Warrior is in a constant quest of Wisdom and Knowledge in order to become wiser and eventually a Master of his own life by spreading LIGHT and LOVE. As we dig in a little deeper Light is Information and Love is Creation. These are the Spiritual Warrior's main tools to end IGNORANCE AND FEAR. Combined with his Unique life experience and Divine Gifts and driven by his Life Mission the Spiritual Warrior puts an end to old toxic patterns in order to create a new world for himself and to pave the road for future generations.

WHO ARE THE SPIRITUAL WARRIORS?

Spiritual Warriors are those who have the COURAGE to walk a path that not many have walked before, they choose to live up to their true Spiritual Nature, becoming a catalyst for the evolution of consciousness. The Warrior in here Honours life and stays true to his souls Mission. Even if that means to walk away from situations, people and things that prevent him from spreading his light in the world. He stays grounded in his truth and values In order to CREATE the world he wants to live in, to expand consciousness that will help our Mother Earth thrive and by consequence our universe.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR

• A Spiritual Warrior is aware that there is much more than just this physical world and is constantly seeking for more truth, clarity and wisdom.

• A Spiritual Warrior is willing to let go all belief systems and keeps an open mind to limitless possibilities as it is in this way that he keeps evolving to new levels of consciousness.

• A Spiritual Warrior knows that staying true and aligned with his purpose will help him unveil and develop his gifts and in return it will inspire others to do the same.

• A Spiritual Warrior never attacks, he only protects creation, as it is in this way that he shows who he is in regards to fear and ignorance. He can recognize fear and ignorance as he's been through that path before.

• A Spiritual Warrior knows that honesty and self awareness are key to self improvement, as one cannot work on a weakness one refuses to identify in the first place.

• A Spiritual Warrior doesn't impose a way, he shows the beauty of a path and lets people’s free will decide whether to take it or not.

• A Spiritual Warrior accepts responsibility for himself, he doesn't find excuses or blames others for any event that takes place or not in his life, he simply looks at himself first and takes accountability for his own actions. He's aware that he creates his own reality.

• A Spiritual Warrior knows that pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional (Paulo Coelho)

 

• A Spiritual Warrior speaks his mind, as he knows that honesty is an act of courage and a gift that only those who can see it, will appreciate it.

 

• A Spiritual Warrior is humble about his experiences as he’s conscious that he can learn something new everyday from anyone.

 

• A Spiritual Warrior respects dignity and life in all forms and shapes, he knows that there is no separation between us.

 

• A Spiritual Warrior is the first one to show Vulnerability, he knows that his vulnerability is an act of courage, as he unveils that mask, he invites others to do the same: to open themselves up, connect, heal and grow together.

 

• A Spiritual Warrior has tasted darkness and suffered in many ways before, He tasted it enough times to know that it was never the path that made him feel better, but it was definitely that same path that made him grow the most. Like in that good old song from Frankie Ballard: "How am I ever gonna get to be Old and Wise, if I ain't ever young and crazy".

 

• A Spiritual Warrior keeps his ego on check and doesn't look for recognition

 

• A Spiritual Warrior cultivates self-love, self-forgiveness and inner peace. How can he be good with others if he doesn't feel good within himself.
